The Position 

The role is to deliver high quality asbestos surveys, including surveying buildings for asbestos in accordance with current legislation, guidance and technical procedures. 

What are we looking for? 

We want your passion and enthusiasm to help us deliver a first-class service. You will provide excellent customer service to our clients, be computer literate and hold a full UK driving licence. You will be required to have at least 2-years’ experience of undertaking surveys of domestic and commercial properties with a variety of ACMs and hold a BOHS P402 Proficiency certificate in building surveys and bulk sampling for asbestos.  

Key Responsibilities include: 

• Inspecting properties/buildings for asbestos (management, refurbishment and demolition surveys) 

• Bulk sampling 

• Working on a broad range of domestic properties 

• Working on a broad range of commercial properties to a basic level of survey 

• Participation in internal quality control schemes  

• Liaising with tenants & clients 

• Quality/technical check of survey reports prior to release to client 

• Type survey reports as and when required 

• Undertake other tasks as and when required by management 

• To be impartial when carrying out all aspects of work and therefore should avoid involvement in any activities that would diminish confidence in MSS Consulting competence, impartiality, judgement or operational integrity
