Merebrook Consulting Limited (part of the Idom Group of Companies) has the opportunity for a new Asbestos Surveyor to join our Health and Safety department. Idom is an employee owned company and every employee has the chance to become a partner in the company. The position available is for a Lead Asbestos Surveyor to join our team in Keston, Kent. The role will lead to additional training within other areas of Health and Safety. The candidate must have a commitment to learn and complete Continued Professional Development. The candidate must hold the BOHS P402 certificate and must have at 3 years experience working as a lead surveyor within a UKAS Accredited surveying company. It is essential that the candidate has experience of Demolition Surveys. As an Asbestos Surveyor, the role will entail carrying out both Management and Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on various buildings - commercial, residential and industrial properties within the South East of England - but also throughout the UK with some overnight stays. The Surveyor will also need experience in report writing including recommendations and writing management plans. The candidate should hold a full clean UK driving licence.
