Job: Lead Asbestos Surveyor, Lancashire, up to £28,000 + Benefits An experienced asbestos surveyor is required for a key opportunity at a SME sized asbestos consultancy based in Lancashire. The consultancy are well known for their quality driven approach towards asbestos management whilst they tend to take a very consultative hands on view when working with their clients.
Current projects tend to mostly be spread around the North West whilst you may be required for the occasional job further afield (with full expenses paid). The actual projects in this companies portfolio tend to be more commercially led then you may find at other consultancies due to the ongoing excellent relationships the management team have with some of the countries largest bluechip companies.

Free gym membership Child Care Vouchers Office Parking candidate requirements As a lead surveyor you will take on a portfolio of asbestos projects that you will be solely responsible for completing, including all of the client liaison , trouble shooting and any proactive problem solving you feel may add value to the contract. This will be a very self sufficient role where you will map out your own programme of surveys using all of the company resources at your disposal. You will be given full managerial support during your probation period in order to learn the ropes quicker.
You will be an experienced P402 Asbestos Surveyor who has a proven track record in the asbestos management industry. Ideally you will have worked in a UKAS accredited consultancy at least once in your career.
It is envisaged that the successful postholder will eventually take the reins of the entire asbestos survey department altogether so for that reason my client are looking for a candidate with the drive and motivation to move the department forward under their stewardship, and grow it (with full backing) in terms of staff and bids where they see appropriate.
